To our „Hotel – Guest House Grüne Linde“ (Green Linden) in Delitzsch

Since 1886 this house has been owned by Family Mertzsch and has been in property again since 1990.

With lots of passion and personal commit ment we have created a cosy lodging with a high standard of hospitality. We, Gabriele Mertzsch and Wolfgang Schlender, want to welcome you.

Our hotel has nowadays

• 20 modern guest rooms with 40 beds, 18 hotel rooms and 2 economy-rooms  respectively family rooms
• 1 restaurant up to 50 seats and rustic bar (in summert with an outdoor sitting area)
• 1 hall up to 65 seats with terrace
• free parking lots and W-LAN for our guests
• bikes to rent
• Hummer H2 as Wedding Shuttle
• Hummer H1 for adventure tours

Admittedly, Delitzsch is not the hub of the world, but because of its good transport connections  you are perfectly situated and surrounded by the distict of lakes “Leipziger  Neuseenland”.
It only takes you  11 minutes by train to the fair exhibition and 20 minutes to the marketplace and city centre of Leipzig.

Our hotel is situated in the shopping mile only 300 metres away from the Lower station (trains to Leipzig and fair exhibition), historic centre and hospital.

You prefer going by car:

• 15 kilometres to the fair exhibition, 18 km to BMW- and Porsche Factory as well as 21 km to the airport Leipzig – Halle.
• respectivlely 15 km to the motorways A9 (Brehna or Wiedemar) and A 14 (Leipzig Mitte)

Our hotel is perfectly suited for fair visits, stopovers, discovery tours in Central Germany or as venue for family celebrations.
